I enjoyed the unique Art Deco style and great location of Casa Habita, filled with cute restaurants and shops nearby. However, the noise from the nightclub next door was very disruptive, especially at night, leading to sleepless evenings. While the staff was friendly and the design intriguing, the hotel could benefit from a few updates and better soundproofing.

Rooms
5.0
The rooms had a vintage charm, but some features, like the bathroom setup and the rusted shower head, could use improvements. I found the bed comfortable, but the pillows were on the hard side.
Service
5.0
The staff was kind and tried their best, but the service at the bar was slow, taking too long for drink orders and poolside service. Such lapses were disappointing given the hotel’s otherwise inviting atmosphere.
Location
8.0
The location is one of the best features, in a vibrant area packed with restaurants and shops, perfect for my architecture walks around the charming neighborhood.
Dining
6.0
While I enjoyed the breakfast options, especially with artisan bread, the overall dining service could be improved to match the stylish ambiance of the hotel.
Facilities

The pool area was nice with plenty of seating, but the small size and difficulty in accessing the bar detracted from the experience. Additionally, the sauna was a relaxing touch, though lacking safety features.

I really wanted to like Casa Habita, but there were quite a few misses during my stay. The service was sweet, and the front desk staff was genuinely welcoming, but I found the experience a bit frustrating at times, especially when it came to dining options and amenities. The location was definitely a highlight, set in a trendy neighborhood, but the room didn't wow me the way I'd hoped it would.

Rooms
5.0
The room had a cool design with cement floors and large windows, but it felt a bit sparse and lacked basic amenities like a coffee maker. I was in a suite, but it didn’t feel all that spacious, and I missed having a more comfortable setup with more furniture. Privacy was a concern, too, since the bathroom had a glass wall.
Service
5.0
While the staff was kind and tried to accommodate my needs, there were some service hiccups along the way. For example, my room service didn’t start until later than expected due to events happening at the hotel, which was a letdown. However, Montse at the front desk was a standout, making me feel at home from the start.

The hotel's location in the hip Lafayette neighborhood is a definite plus. It’s a quiet area with easy access to local attractions, which was a huge win for my stay.
Dining

Breakfast was okay but limited in options, which was a bit disappointing. I would have liked to have more choices or at least be informed ahead of time about limitations. On a brighter note, I found a good taco stand close by that stole the show for me!
Facilities
5.0
Facilities like the pool felt nice, but the service could improve as I waited longer than usual for drinks. The spa was closed while I was there, which I was bummed about since I wanted to check it out. I appreciated that there were bikes for touring the area, though, which is really a cool idea.
